We’re here to take care of everything — from picking up your pet from your home to safely storing them in a facility and arranging the cremation with care.
Our story
Everyone who has pets eventually faces the moment of saying goodbye. Even when you know the day will come, it always arrives unexpectedly.
Irina, who founded Pet Goodbye, has been through the loss of her own animals. She remembers the feeling of not knowing what to do, where to turn or how to arrange everything properly. That experience led to the idea of a place where owners can see their pet off with love.
Today we help at every stage — with transportation, arranging euthanasia, individual and communal cremation, and choosing an urn or keepsake. Our goal is the same as at the start: to help people say goodbye to their friend calmly and with dignity.

We’re available around the clock — with no extra fees for night calls, because in these moments, waiting is not an option.
We are the only service in Latvia offering full transparency at every step — with care, respect, and dignity.
A portion of our income goes toward feeding and caring for homeless animals.
Farewell room
We’ve created the first and only pet farewell room in Latvia — a peaceful and beautiful space where pet owners can thank their loyal companion and say goodbye with dignity.
You can be alone with your pet or gather as a family, place a favorite toy, a note of gratitude, or a flower beside them, and share memories.
If euthanasia took place at a clinic or the death was sudden, you are welcome to bring your pet to us. We’ll have everything prepared in advance so you can say goodbye in a calm, private setting.
Afterward, we will respectfully handle the cremation and take care of all necessary arrangements.

Pet Goodbye is a project founded on compassion for the process of saying farewell to beloved pets.
For more than 23 years, I have been working in the field of funeral services and cemetery maintenance throughout Latvia. I have a deep understanding of the processes people go through when losing a loved one. And I understand that our pets are family members — and sometimes the only close companion when a person needs a faithful friend.
Pet Goodbye is a story of love, care, and professionalism.
For many years, I have voluntarily helped homeless cats: providing them with warm shelters, food, and solutions for those who have no one. Some of these cats have become part of my family — they live with me and remind me every day how deeply animals are capable of loving and trusting, even after all of life’s trials.
