We offer euthanasia either at a veterinary clinic or in the comfort of your home — in a setting where your pet feels safe and calm. The procedure begins with a sedative that gently helps your pet fall asleep without stress or fear.
Our certified and experienced veterinarians carry out the process carefully and painlessly, ensuring your pet feels peace and comfort until the very end.
Euthanasia is one of the hardest decisions a pet owner can make — but sometimes, it’s the kindest way to relieve your beloved companion from suffering.
Transport & Care
We provide urgent transportation to our facility in Riga, Jūrmala, and within a 50 km radius. For other cities across Latvia, we arrange pickup the same day based on individual agreement.
Your pet is transported with care and dignity, using specialized stretchers and coverings. Each pet is given a personal ID tag and stored in a cooling chamber until the farewell or cremation. After we receive your pet, we send you confirmation — a photo showing their ID tag.

Farewell — with love and peace
We’ve created the first and only pet farewell room in Latvia — a peaceful and beautiful space where pet owners can thank their loyal companion and say goodbye with dignity.
You can be alone with your pet or gather as a family, place a favorite toy, a note of gratitude, or a flower beside them, and share memories.
If euthanasia took place at a clinic or the death was sudden, you are welcome to bring your pet to us. We’ll have everything prepared in advance so you can say goodbye in a calm, private setting.
Afterward, we will respectfully handle the cremation and take care of all necessary arrangements.
Individual Cremation – only your pet’s ashes, with respect and care
This is the only way to ensure you receive only your pet’s ashes — and to decide how to preserve them or return them to nature. The ashes are sterile and completely safe for humans, other animals, and the environment.
You can choose to:
- receive the ashes in an urn, special pouch, or your own container
- scatter the ashes in a meaningful place
- plant a tree as a living tribute
- order a custom-made glass keepsake with ashes or a personalized porcelain urn
We guarantee an eco-friendly process that meets EU standards and provide an official certificate of individual cremation.
Communal Cremation – a simple and respectful option
A more affordable option where ashes are not returned. Still, it offers a dignified and eco-conscious farewell, carried out according to EU standards.
We are the only service in Latvia that offers full transparency even in communal cremation. Each pet receives an individual ID tag and is respectfully placed in the cremation chamber.

How quickly can a veterinarian arrive for euthanasia?
In Riga during business hours — usually within about an hour. At night and on weekends — it may take a little longer. On holidays — please contact us, and we’ll find the fastest possible solution.
How can I be sure I’ll receive only my pet’s ashes?
Each pet is assigned an individual identification tag that stays with them throughout the cremation process — from the moment we receive your pet until the ashes are returned.
How is euthanasia performed? What does the pet feel?
Euthanasia is carried out as gently and painlessly as possible, so your pet can pass away peacefully and without stress. The process takes place in two steps: Sedation – a calming medication is given first, allowing your pet to slowly fall asleep and no longer feel fear or pain. Final injection – administered only after your pet is fully asleep. Within seconds, the heart stops—without suffering. Your pet doesn’t feel pain but may still sense their surroundings at the beginning. That’s why your presence is so important — falling asleep in your arms or on a soft blanket, your pet feels safe and loved. It’s an emotionally difficult moment for the human, but for the animal, it’s a calm, painless, and compassionate way to end their suffering.
What is the farewell process like?
Our farewell room is the only space of its kind in Latvia — calm, private, with soft lighting and flowers. Here, you and your family can say thank you to your beloved pet, share memories, and — if you wish — place a favorite toy, a note, or a flower beside them. It’s a chance to say goodbye in peace, love, and gratitude.
Can children be present during the farewell?
Yes, if the family wishes. We support children being present and help explain what’s happening in an age-appropriate way. A thoughtful farewell can help a child understand the cycle of life and find comfort during this difficult time.
What types of animals can be cremated?
We offer cremation for cats, dogs, rodents, mini pigs, snakes, birds, and other animals up to 150 kg. Animals weighing under 1 kg are usually not cremated individually. However, communal cremation for very small pets is significantly more affordable and priced individually. If the loss of your small pet is especially meaningful and you would prefer an individual cremation, please contact us — we’ll offer possible solutions.

Our office is based in Riga, but we work with veterinarians throughout Latvia and provide services in any city. In Riga, Jūrmala, and within a 50 km radius, we offer urgent pickup within a few hours. In other regions, we arrange transportation on the same or next day, based on individual agreement. We adapt to each situation and always strive to find the quickest and most suitable solution — no matter where you are.

For more than 23 years, I have been working in the field of funeral services and cemetery maintenance throughout Latvia. I have a deep understanding of the processes people go through when losing a loved one. And I understand that our pets are family members — and sometimes the only close companion when a person needs a faithful friend.
